Description: For a long time, I avoided working on this piece due to the complexity of its color scheme. Although I had a general understanding of the composition, the formula for bringing it to life just wouldn’t come together in my mind.
While I was working on the painting, a renowned architect approached me. He shared that this door once belonged to a famous Georgian actor and even introduced me to his grandson. This encounter gave the work added significance, and I repeatedly returned to this street to refine the painting, each time adding more color and emphasis.
It was particularly important for me to depict the graffiti on the door to show that the painting was created in the present day, not 30 years ago, thereby highlighting the fleeting nature of time.
